Waterfront homes are still much in demand even though outlook of Sentosa homes are still gloomy. Waterfront homes are rare and will be very much sought after by those who enjoy the lifestyle, said Mr Tan Swee Yiow, president of Keppel Land. He added that "How many units can you find in Singapore with such a view. There are demands from people to enjoy this lifestyle. Such homes are a rare commodity".
Corals at Keppel Bay is set to be ready for occupation next month August and Corals at Keppel Bay Developer is set to embark on relaunching the remainder of the unsold units. This is estimated to be around 44 per cent of unsold units.
Corals at Keppel Bay is one of the waterfront homes available besides Sentosa. It is on the mainland with views of Keppel Bay and Sentosa beyond. Keppel Land does not face Qualifying Certificate (QC) extension charges on unsold units as it acquired the site before December 2011.
It has two more development sites in Keppel Bay which can support an estimated 320 units in total.
Keppel Land has, over the years, shown buyers the attractiveness of living in the Keppel Bay area, with Caribbean at Keppel Bay, and later, Reflections at Keppel Bay.
Corals at Keppel Bay went at an average of $2,200 per sq ft when launched in 2013. Pricing for the next launch will be announced closer to the date.
It also recently introduced the Smart Home Technology to all the residents of Corals at Keppel Bay. The package included the lighting control, and "home security package" where residents can be alerted to unwanted entry or when motion is detected in off-limit areas in the home.
Smart Home is the home of the Future. Many developers are already introducing it to the new development. 6 Derbyshire developer, Fantasia, has also rolled out his 6 Derbyshire Smart Home to 6 Derbyshire.
Keppel Land will also rolled out this Smart Home Technology developed by Philip Tang & Sons to its other newer development like Highline Residences too.
